No. of Facebook Friends vs Real Life Friends

i have 93 facebook friends. based on the OP's definition, my real friends vary from 0 to around maybe 10, depending on my mood.

i do know everyone on my facebook though, except a couple people from forums, and about 3 or 4 that i have met a couple times but don't really "know."

I always wonder what happened to people on my friends list here who posted regularly then just cold turkey stopped and never came back.

 

They're probably banned. lol I know sometimes the admin doesn't get around to changing the user titles, while I was banned, my user title didn't change.

 

All of my fb friends are people that i've met in person, expect for my forum peps and one english artist.

 

I've got about 40 out of 124.

Most of the people I have on there, that I don't actually know, are just friends of friends.

 

For me, that is the point. It is a way to get a hold of people that aren't your "real friends" - that you can't just call up - but are still more than acquaintances, as well as friends that aren't geographically close anymore.

The less you like talking on the phone, the more you may be inclined to use it that way.

297 FB. Really close clique irl, probably about 8 or 9 people i would call true friends.

 

I personally only add people on Facebook that I know... I don't want it to end up like MySpace, ya know?
