I read in USA Today that something like 98% of phone tap requests in 2005 were for cell phones.

 

I like to call someone and put the mouthpiece up to the sound of my bong bubbling.

 

The government wastes their time and money watching me.. cops snooping through my backyard, trash going missing, them sitting out front of my house, etc. I'd be extremely surprised if my phones WEREN'T tapped.

and I still don't know why they waste their time... I think its cause they're lazy.

My advice would be to invest in a tin foil hat or fashion your own perhaps.
I had the cops following me for years, always outside my house and whenever I walked in the street they were behind me, especially after I'd been smoking. It was as if they somehow knew. Always talking on their radios and the helicopters watching me and every move I made waiting until the big bust when they'd gathered enough evidence. Yep, they were definitely following me because, you know, I'd been dealing ounces split into eighths and everything, I used to be quite the big time bad boy dealer and a real menace to society.
Since aqquiring my tin foil hat it's been brilliant because they can't use the mind control ray on me any more or read my thoughts like they used to, so who's in control now officers? Suckers didn't think I'd get one over on their mind games. ha.

 

any radio shack scanner or any other brand scanner,,for a nominal fee to a shady expert can be rigged to pick up cell phone frequencies..

as far as the leos doin it,,im sure with a court order they do..

 

oh also cordless phones..

 

steve, i just realized that you may have been talking about the NSA seizing records of phone calls, not actually wiretapping. if that is what you're referring to then yes, they phone companies do have to comply for them to get access to those records. but EVERY SINGLE major phone company gave up their records of cell phone calls post september 11th, with no court order or warrant except for Qwest, which is a company i have never even heard of. i agree with phone tapping can be used as an effective way to fight people that actually are potential terrorists, but they seized records of over a trillion calls. i can almost guarantte that every single person on these forums is in someway connected to those records. not that it means much, as they dont all appear with a transcript, photo, and address. but still it's just the idea of it....
