haha well i'm not right smack in the city but right outside of it in the 'burbs. i go to allentown alot to make some "pick ups" haha and chill with friends.

we should catch some shows or something, esp with bisco coming up. always great to meet new people

as for the drug problem, i smoke weed like a chimney (nothing new) and thats never been an issue. i've just been doing too much opium and acid, and i've gotten into some dirty drugs which i'm ashamed to say (coke). coming off it is just so bad i always have to be high, and it seems like the only thing right know thats keeping me sane and maybe a bit cheerful with all this shit going down with the bf, family probs, college stuff, etc. plus i am spending too much $ on the blow, so i've slowed down a bit.

 

You don't, uh, know a guy in Allentown named Angel who you get your goods from, do you? Because that could be freaky.

Either way, we definitely should hit up a show or two. It's a shame that the SkyeHigh concert is already over. I still have to pick up my coat from the music hall, haha!

You sound a bit like my co-worker Angie. She used to be into hard drugs pretty heavily (she did coke before weed, and used to be crazy about it, even did coke with Green Day and a few other big name bands).

I've kind of coined a term for one of my hobbies ... psychoactivism. I admit I haven't tried most of the illegal, hard drugs like coke, but I'm huge into natural psychoactives ... Kratom, Salvia divinorum, etc.

I don't think there's anything going on around here before I go on Winter break for 3 weeks, though. =(

i'll be going to bisco, maybe i can get backstage, i know a few people who said its possible. and biscos actually really into blow and stuff. but i'm not hardcore with it, i cant afford that, i just do some stuff more than i should.

except for that, i'm into all the natural stuff like you mentioned. ope and shrooms are good too.

 

He can get pretty much everything, but a while ago he was at a rave and was actually stabbed with a knife ... the doctors predicted that he wouldn't live, but he did, and he's still in the business today unless something else has happened that I don't know about ...

I haven't actually heard of bisco ... what kind of music do they play? If you do get backstage ... you might want to lay off the blow. When is the concert?

You need better musical friends!

If you like Jam bands, you should be able to find folks wiser than that. most of the great musicians i know grew out of that phase or faded pretty fast. The best Jams are at some of the underground festivals. Those who get in are for the most part a bit wiser or they are not invited back.

blow is a fools drug. very sad! None is way too much, total disrespect to the spirit. Great jams are about channeling the spirit and creating an allincompassing vibe. Synchronicity. I have been blessed to present for a lot of great pick-up jams that blew away anything i have seen at a comercial venue. it can be some realy moving magic when a whole bunch of unrelated but talented musicians just throw down. The coked-up or tweekin musicians just fuck up the vibe. The trippin ones make it better. I am a dancer usually rather than a musician myself, so i am all about the vibe of the jam. Music is magic, let it be sweet magic not destrutive dissonance!

i know and i totally understand that, i have good musical friends, but thats ust how bisco is. i dont need anything to make me enjoy music, understand that i'm basically an all natural mama except for that. im dealing with alot of bad stuff right now and somehow it came into my life. i see lots of small bands and underground musicians, im just sayin that a chance to meet bisco is rare. i know wrong from right,and i cant justify myself, but i just aint listenin to my conscience

 

Yeah, I guess that makes sense ... but don't get too carried away, at the least.

I'm definitely a fan of jam bands, but I admit I haven't kept up or listened to many. I like a lot of the ska or jazz jam bands, especially groups with bongos.

I'll be back for the concert, if you're up for going and there are tickets left. (do you know how much they cost?)
