I remember only being able to make a limited number of posts on my first week or so. It made sense to me. A nutty professor barging through the door could have easily upset a few apple carts, or candy carts these days. Sorry Candy, I could not resist that one.
@wilsjane the Nutty Professor! I like that one I have learned so much from your writings, I can not thank you enough.
Welcome Fireman. Hopefully you have very few fires to put out and spend most of your time rescuing pussies that need your help.
Throughout my working life, I was always known as the professor. Even Richard Attenborough said, "call the professor" when technical things went wrong. The 'nutty' adjective was mostly behind my back. . Pumping heat from the extract air in the theaters, rather than firing the huge boilers to heat water for the wash basins in summer caused huge amusement until people realized that it worked. I will never forget the reaction when I passed 11,000 volts into the water to heat a theater where we had no flues for boilers, The heath and safety inspectors really did think that I had lost my marbles on that one. They simply could not understand that the metal tanks created a star point in the 3 phase supply, equating both the current and voltage to zero. Needless to say, Jane has a few less complimentary adjectives to add to her nouns to describe me,
I can send him a message when one of my experiments blows the house up. Do you think that I will need to change my gender first. LMAO.
SPAM would be a cool username though. Welcome fireman! No hosing down the hipfolk, now! Enjoy your stay.
