Tomorrow is the day of Imbolc, in the Northern Hemisphere!

Yay! Winter is halfway over!

Now, the days begin to grow longer!

 

The day is also known as Candlemas

 

There's always something special about burning candles...

 

Candles are beautiful but I don't burn them often now because I have so many young cats in the house. They go on rips and knock stuff everywhere.

 

I have a cute little Viking long ship that holds 4 tea candles. It's awesome. Especially when the the room is dark, it flicks shadows of the dragon heads on the walls.

 

Anyone interested?Belgian sweets with a layer of Belgian chocolate...hurry up...yummy..yummy.. :bulb:

Me either especially since they make a prediction before the sun comes up so the poor animal is surrounded by spotlights. Why would he not see his shadow? Apparently the PA groundhog has been right 80% of the time. The one we have in Ohio has only been right 60% of the time. (which is more in line with random guessing)

Grace is cream and gold but otherwise she pretty much looked like that dog today. Temps in the lower teens with -4 or more wind chill. Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
