I live in a suburb 10 miles West of Boston and walk through the city all winter and while it is beautiful, the setting and scene can be deceiving. The Boston DPW does a great job in removing snow from the streets but does a lousy job in removing snow from the sidewalks, so if you suddenly placed yourself in this Commonwealth Ave scene casually walking down the path you could easily slip and fall on a patch of ice if you’re not careful.
Nice, I love New England in the fall, I use to go biking and camping up there late September. Missed the last few years though.
