Can you tell us what the colorful blooms are? What kind of birds are those?

 

Thanks, I really love this walking spot.

The yellow is a wattle tree, the pink is a type of bloom on a gum/eucalypt tree and I'm actually unsure of the purple but it's pretty. The birds are cockatoos, they make a loud screeching noise. In Australia people sometimes keep sulphur created cockatoos as pets and teach them to talk, they live for a very long time.

I like Summer bonfires and how they light up the night. You just have to stay a little further back due to the heat.
