Well flower children, if you all really want to live the real hippy life all you
have to do is do it......but, before you jump in with both feet you might want
to take part in a Rainbow Gathering, there are hundreds of Rainbow tribes all
across the world, just google rainbow tribes to find one near you. Most of the
tribes are real, with a good cross section of old hippies and new converts,
they pick a place to meet for a week or even just a week end, lots of free love
flowing all around, you can get necked if you want too, make hippie friends
while most of the real hippies are now over 40 years old our traditions have
been passed on to the new hippies and you can groove all week end long
if you like it, great, but if you hate it, at least you have not commited
much time and you can go back to being what ever you were before you
    went to a Rainbow Gathering.

OR...try living in a commune for a while, you will have to work either inside
the compound or outsite, and you will be expeceted to fork over what ever you
have to the commune, in turn they will feed and house you, and most importantly they will educate you.

This year happyhippie will be taking the path of least resistance, over to
New York, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and if I can get past the border
guards, Canada peace and love my flower children til next time :D

    Right on, brother.
I've been wanting to live in a commune for a long time.
It's just the idea of living and working in that community...ah, it's such a glorious idea.
It'll happen some day for me, I can promise you that.
Good lovin' vibes to you, my friend.

hey!! it me again! i don't think that this counts, but this summer i have vowed to walk almost everywhere i go. this is so that i can take the time to enjoy all that mother nature has given for our viewing pleasure. the bad thing about this is that it takes longer to get through the more populated industrialized community that i near. just thought that i'd share that. i'm not out of school permanently yet and when i am out of highschool chances are i'm goin to college( parents wishes which i'd rather not fight.) so i'll be older than i wsh to be when i finally start travelin. i just hope i can keep the faith and endure all of this establishmental pressure to chang myself in the way that fits my country. what a bummer it is to b e 16 without a car.
