and water chestnuts are weird but good - speshly in stir fries. They have a kind watery, creamy, nutty thing going on and they are crunchy and delicious.

Ok this didn't happen to me but it is just so damn good that I have to share:

My mate works in a job where they have to keep in touch with regular clients over the phone. One of the clients - shit you not - married a Mr Seman. Now my friend couldn't stop laughing when her co worker would ring up and ask for "Mrs Seman" (say it out loud) and this was inappropriate. So, the next time my friend asked her coworker if she could please ring up and use Mrs Seman's first name because it was just too funny....So the co worker did....unfortunately Mrs Seman's first name happens to be Phyllis.

sweet jesus, my freind had to leave the building she was laughing so hard.
