I like the layout. It's smoother. The only thing I don't care for is the creepy blow up dolls...

 

I adore the purple. People are freaking out about the changes now. Imagine if there was a different color scheme...Were you hoping for complete chaos as well?..

 

Yeah, this is like a highway under construction, with orange barrels and a lower speed limit. Except that highway projects sometimes take two years.

 

I found a temporary way around this. If you change an album to Private, nobody can see the pics but you. What we used to call a private album is now the Friend Only setting. I confirmed this guess with an experiment last night.

 

You can also upload another pic in place of the one you want to remove. Just open the image then click on image moderation. When the dialog comes up upload a new image to replace the old one.

 

...which can be a solid black square.

Problem solved, for now.

 

I still can't figure out how to change user name.

I'm seeing the ongoing improvements but one question.....until the most recent "downtime" I could see who the last poster was in each thread. When the board came back after that I can only see how many posts there are in each thread. Is that just a glitch? If anyone cares what I think....I think it's convenient to be able to see who posted last without opening each thread.

 

those numbers will bounce around for a while. 0views 0 replies ect .. threads of members you never heard of appearing, topics with no post comments .. It will be like ghost town ..

speaking of ghosts find some images in your phone to load as Avatars. All can load up your own avatars.

oh my god, you've said that in every post since the forum changed. take the time to read some posts, and you'll see that everything before late july is currently unavailable, so some threads are showing up without the posts, because the posts are all from that down time frame.

 

I don't dig changes to internet forums.

First forum I ever joined fell the fuck apart. Lost everything.

Scarred me. That's the only reason I found this place.
