haha, that post had me crying laughin and it's true. For the most part though Irish people don't care. If you can't have a laugh at yourself then your in trouble. I don't know if the comments are necessarily anti-irish or just takin the piss a bit because there is a big difference.

 

Ah man ye'll be wasted in dose gaffs - all tourist places - sure ull have a grate time but ull be much better off de beatin track - Valencia is grate , San Sebastian even better - and South America (Colombia esp) ull never leave.

 

Might check out San Sebastien because the cheapest flight is to Biarrittz (sp?) in France and then it's only pissing distance to Spain and San Sebastien is one of the nearst places to the border. Did you speak Spanish when you went?
As for Colombia as an Irish person you can't get a visa for there anymore since the Colombian 3 incident.

 

Yeh Biarritz is right beside Pamplona... in fact we had our car impounded dere... was a grate adventure fer me ... i bought a Spanish grammar book in de airport and started gougin into it on de plane... I think i covered 8 chapters by de time i landed but ta be honest it's one ting ta kno de wurds , anudder ting entirely ta be able ta string em togeddur an make sentences out of it... so Id recommend a little bit of a course if ye can manage it and no... givin a Spanish wan a lash in Temple bar does not cover it.

On de Colombian ting...Im not sure about dat - one of my best mates is goin out wit one over here... fine ting dat she is... he was talkin about goin over wit her to take a look see but she's mental - dey've broken up more times dan the Northern Assembly.

 

lol, yeah few Spanish ones knocking about TB alright and none to shabby some of them! I'm doing Spanish nightclasses and did them before so I know a bit but nothing major like. Still sure I'll work it out more as I go along over there.
