NEVER been so conflicted

sounds like my relationship with my ex. We never understood each other. Its not like we were even that different, but we had two completely different ways of expressing ourselves verbally.

We love/hated each other and enjoyed/barely tolerated being around each other for 4 years.

I don't think relationships like this really work long term. Communication is one of the most important things in a relationship, and if you can't figure it out eventually you'll just end up fighting a lot more than is healthy for either of you.

But if its fun in the moment, then just go with it. like I said, I got 4 years of mileage with my ex. And even though he's a total jackass and I still can't really talk to him, he's still one of my favorite people.
