I saw it in probably 05 or 06, and I was baked out of my skull so I don't really remember it. But I do remember that it was good, excellent cinematography.
Its about the favellas in Rio de Janeiro and the gang life that starts in childhood. Just describing the plot doesn't really do it justice. It is just a really well made movie.
just saying, given a heads up, ive seen the movie enough to almost know what they saying without reading lol damn i cant type
I'm having that problem myself. I have watched all of the King of the Hill episodes, South Park, embarrasingly (dammit I can't figure out how to spell that word!) enough a bunch of reality tv shows, Mythbusters, my husband and I watch the Japanese movies, any ghosty movies I can find... the list goes on and on. Too much show watching going on here. It's winter, what else is there to do?
I watched Emma's Wish last night. It was so cheesy. I liked it though. "A lonely retirement home resident obtains a magical ring on her 75th birthday which grants her wish to again be young. Awakening the next morning she finds herself to be 40 years old again. She leaves the home and takes a position as a housekeeper for her daughter, who does not recognize her."
