Need help to save a friendship

Hopefully the husband will figure out there is no good time. A married man should know - just because you pick a 'good time' to get an initial reaction, it doesn't mean it's gonna be roses after she thinks about it for a bit. If she's the kind that pushes away and gets jealous to the point of hindering her mate's friendships...she's not likely to be the kind to receive even a nice, well intentioned, rationally put letter without drama.

Hope it turns out alright. You got a right to feel hurt if you end up loosing your friend, but ultimately it is his choice.
