OMG, I just discovered a wayyy better bargain for you who need a knife and are on a limited budget. Since Benchmade makes really good designs and their manufacture is superb, I can always recommend them. Recently, the company decided to roll out a line of knives that are made in Taiwan, but to standards that make the quality plenty acceptable. The result is far more affordable knives that are just about as good as their others. (Sometimes the blade steels are not the highest-tech ones that please the knife-snobs and other aficionados, that's all.)

So I found this one: http://www.knifecenter.com/kc_new/store_detail.html?s=BM10400P

For only thirty bucks, I really doubt that you will find a better knife than this one.

In case you are curious, the hole in the blade is designed so that when you hold the knife in your hand, you press the ball of your thumb into the hole and make an arc with it, rotating the blade to the open position. It's easy. :) And very very convenient. (Remember when pocket knives meant you had to use your other hand to open the blade? Gone are those days.)

By limited budget, I mean I can't afford anything superfluous like that. I can barely afford the internet these days

That's thirty bucks American. A fair chunk of chnage more in Canadian dollars. And the whoel rotating the blade open thing, my knife already does. I shopped for almost half an hour for it, trying out a bunch that fit my hand comfortable, and this was the only one that did that. I can't afford another knife anyways, but gee, thanks for saying my knife sucks without ever having seen or touched it.
