I have a Guinea accent... It's distinct when I talk fast. One interesting area of Gloucester County, VA is known as Guinea. Located near Gloucester Point, the area has historically been the center of the seafood industry of the county. While the number of participants in this industry has declined over the years, it remains the cultural core of the community. These watermen are known locally as "Guineamen" or "Guinea Bubbas". This term is not inherently derisive, but is often used as such by "outsiders". Guineamen often speak a heavily-accented form of English. Their unique subculture is slowly fading, however, as the seafood industry declines. People from West Texas just sound.. Mexican. Kinda.. most people in West Texas are part Mexican/Native anyway.
frick... Ramdomly today to me, some teacher goes "see that girl over there, i know you don't know what hockey is (cause i was in character), but that's ryan smyth's daughter"... what an idiot...like i care I met alex kreis though...3 times!
was she cute? because i would've hit on her simply because we'd be able to have little hockey-protege children.
