Well, natural medicines often contain vitamins and stuff, lol... hey, did you know that a coca leave has some pretty good vitamins? lol... That's why people say that natural medicines are... healthier. And useful! You can use an eucalitptus tea for many, many things! You can use peppermint for so many things... and that mint taste is delicious, man!
OK, so imagine you get addicted to opium. Aww man, that's bad, you know, but HEY, at least is a soft drug! Now imagine you get addicted to heroin...yeah man, that's pretty bad but fuckin' hey! It's one of the hardest drugs! Why do you really prefer to do the chemical way, although heroin is a natural one? Opium was also used in many ways. Oh and there's allways that RAW pleasure, I can't explain. I feel better if I'm smoking mushrooms I have just pick up (after dried, course, lol^^) from my garden! But you know, maybe we're being... conservative...
In terms of balance. In terms of purity. In terms of beauity. In terms of life (not society and human affairs and it's many [ugly!] facets). Which is more consistantly relyable, all that is produced by nature, or all that is produced by man? It's really not that complicated of an observation. I suggest anyone who dosen't understand... return to nature with some of the "drugs" that nature produced and see if you do not come up with the same conclusions. But then again, intent alone is not enough, your spirit must be seeking truth, not material or social gain. Most embarasing is that everyone is repeatedly using the defination of "healthy" and "dangerious", that is formulated by western science, not exactly the be all and end all of Knowledge and Wisdom. Anyone who tries to subvert this argument by listing the things that are obvious poisions to human beings... this rethorical argument goes no where, to compare psilocybin mushrooms or cannabis to arsenic, lead, ect is completly irrelevant. If you are one of those people who can't figure out the catagorical diference between heroin and opium, I simply don't have the time to explain. It's relavance to a sorcerer is minimal. But remember, everything is relative, everything is subjective. -PsDX
