    I haven't named my bassoon.

However whenever it is I get a nice new working alto saxophone, I will name it "Sarah" in remembrance of my sister who is not..around..anymore. Alto saxophone is the instrument I've connected with emotionally the most.

I just call it "my guitar".

Which is peculiar enough seeing as it's a drumkit.

I have been playing guitar for over 8 years, but I still have no name for it. I'm a fan of the metals, and jazz. Little bit of blues, but not so much.
my main is an Ibanez RG521LE, modded with a floyd rose and X2N Bridge pup.

    Any name suggestions? :D

1948 Gibson ES-125 - Alysia Gibson (Alysia was my girlfriend at the time...my friend who sold it to me came up with the name which I think is really funny...)
dark red Fender Stratocaster - no name yet
Gibson Les Paul Studio - no name...
Old crappy Yamaha acoustic with a String Cheese Incident sticker, barely visible faded designs in blue sharpie and THIS MACHINE KILLS FASCISTS painted on... - no name
metallic green Fender Jazz Bass - no name
sunburst Palatino Electric Upright Bass - no name
Gretsch lapsteel (black with silver sparkles) - no name

Any ideas for names for any of them?

I'm guessing you are obsessed with sc, lawl. Good for you man.

My kit's named Shelly. For a reason. I learned this fat lick from a song called Shelly when all I had was my drumset without hardware, cymbols, er nothin fer two months, when I first met her. Ya...I've added a little since then, but she's still Shelly, and she means a lot to me.

As for my guitar...eh, its not that important to me yet. But everyone's first guitar should have a name. I would name it, but I have been thinking about smashing it just out of anger lately. And my iPod and stuff but thats a whole nother story. So until it means more to me, no name.
