Good point, people too readily forget that most other drugs including the ironically legal drug alcohol, are rather unforgiving if you over-indulge. With opiates for example, there is no sure way of defining a universally safe dose for a particular state of mind (for all users) and if you get it wrong - you can very easily 'forget how to breathe'. The legal drug alcohol is very similar to opiates in this respect.

Marijuana for all practical purposes does not have an un-safe dosage unless you have an underlying heart condition or some similar vulnerability. I agree that a full on obsession with marijuana use as with any other drug, can negatively impact some-one's life but in other respects - you could do a lot worse.

I vote we don't even bother looking at any of the French guy's posts in the future. Why waste our time getting pissed off at him when we could be doing better things - like toking?

well, ziggy, even if you have a bad heart, no one has ever been recorded to have died from being on just weed alone. no one has got cancer from smoking jsut weed. no ones had a heart attack from smoking weed. it does something.. thatjsut makes it so good.

but im getting a bit annoyed at people goin 'oh marijuana doesnt cause mental problems, it only brings out existing problems'. well in the end, isnt it essentially the same thing, i mean, most people wouldnt be aware that they were underlying schizophrenic after its been exposed by weed. to them, they were perfectly healthy before hand, then smoked weed, then were schizo.
i doesnt matter that most people are not vulnerable to it. theres still enough probability that you will have some sort of dormant psychological problem to keep it an issue.
