You spent a while writing that post didn't you? The heterogeneous font is nice. You're 16? Oh, what I would do to get my hands on a time machine, so I could be 16 again. There's nothing worse than your parents telling you to grow up, am I right? (Before I go on, I'd like to take a moment to appreciate how lovely this forum is. This is evolution at work.) So, you want to drop out. I am sorry, but if you leave your high school to pursue a GED, you will forever be labeled as a high school drop-out. Are you okay with that? Do you have some talent or skill that you can use to survive in the world? If not, I suggest you get your highschool diploma so that you can stand out amongst the 7 billion able-bodied workers which you will live and compete against in your lifetime.
im the same way. all i can say is, even though it sucks so hard, STAY IN SCHOOL. you will regret it someday. i promise. you can hardly even work in a mcdonalds now-a-days with a ged. the time will go by soo fast. your almost done, high school is such a small part of your life. take it from me, im STILL IN high school. i hate every moment of it, but ive gone too far to quit now.
I hated school passionately. Until I got to university, which I loved. I'd say, stay in school and learn what you can. Even if it's not the study you'd prefer, get what you can from it. If nothing else, it'll make it easier to get into college if you want. The GED option is okay, if you really have the discipline to stick it and learn. The film career sounds exciting and interesting, so maybe you should figure out the best way to learn about it and follow that path, wherever it leads.
