Well, I've heard reports of people taking 5 Tablespoon fulls of freshly ground nutmeg. Then again those people could barely move, tripped like nothing they had ever tripped before, and felt sick and weak and were pale for the entirety of the following week. So yeah, nutmeg isn't really the best. I've heard though that mixing it with lemon juice really masks the overpowering flavor. I once tried about 2 tablespoons and just got really sweaty for 10 minutes and felt like my internal pressure went up a few PSI. Besides that I would only recomend nutmeg if you CAN'T get ahold of ANYTHING else and for VERY long periods of time.
