so sarcastic... I have no real career goals i wanted to be a doctor, but now i think it's my fall back option. plan b, if you will. i really want to be a rockstar, but i need a meantime job. who knows what i should be?
In high school I knew I wanted to go to art school but I had no plan. If you want something you better get planing yoru rout now. I swear theres nothing better then getting out of high school with a plan....and not only a plan but scholorships!! It's so worth it. Free money! well...not free...as free as filling out applications and doing your schoolwork etc. I wish I had made a plan a lot sooner then I did for my escape.
heh, I still don't have a concrete plan for life. I want a job with decent money that I don't hate, and a happy life. So simple, I know... but I am in university, the college of Commerce, leaning towards an accounting degree. It's hard to know what you wan t to do, so sometimes it's better to get a degree/certificate in something versatile, even something like secretary skills, so you can get a decent job and figure out what you want to do. Realize that rockstardom is freakin hard work and the chances of actually making it even verging on big are slim to none. Doctors take years and years and years and years of school. It really just depends on what suits you.
I didnt mean have a concrete plan for the rest of your life...but at least use your good grades to get some of that free cash for schooling...there arehundreds of scholorships..thats all im saying
heh, I know whatcha mean Applespark... I was just sharing my experiences. I should be applying for more scholarships... alas, most are for first, or fourth year at my univ (at least, the ones that don't involve a ten page essay for $250 or less) snelio, have you ever tried taking one of those career tests? Ones that give you a pretty broad scope of what you would theoretically be good at? I don't know of any offhand that are online, though I know our school had one for grade 9ers (it was really bad though... apparently I'm supposed to be a cowboy, not the supernerd I really am)
it always says a career in biology or medicine. as interesting as that would be i would not want that for an extended period of time. blah. i'l figure something out.
http://www.colorwize.com/colorme.asp was a neat little test for me... not completely innacurate (its 66 questions, but it's just choosing between two colours)
get on her good side..my dad said my mom would prolly allow it if i didnt get in so much trouble..my dad loves the dread idea and my mom hates it but he over rules her..he does tattoos and pircings and said i could get any tattoos i want when im 16..and for pircings..i only want my lip pirced so i might get that done too...
