In high school I knew I wanted to go to art school but I had no plan. If you want something you better get planing yoru rout now. I swear theres nothing better then getting out of high school with a plan....and not only a plan but scholorships!! It's so worth it. Free money! well...not free...as free as filling out applications and doing your schoolwork etc. I wish I had made a plan a lot sooner then I did for my escape.

heh, I still don't have a concrete plan for life. I want a job with decent money that I don't hate, and a happy life. So simple, I know... but I am in university, the college of Commerce, leaning towards an accounting degree. It's hard to know what you wan t to do, so sometimes it's better to get a degree/certificate in something versatile, even something like secretary skills, so you can get a decent job and figure out what you want to do.

Realize that rockstardom is freakin hard work and the chances of actually making it even verging on big are slim to none. Doctors take years and years and years and years of school. It really just depends on what suits you.

heh, I know whatcha mean Applespark... I was just sharing my experiences. I should be applying for more scholarships... alas, most are for first, or fourth year at my univ (at least, the ones that don't involve a ten page essay for $250 or less)

snelio, have you ever tried taking one of those career tests? Ones that give you a pretty broad scope of what you would theoretically be good at? I don't know of any offhand that are online, though I know our school had one for grade 9ers (it was really bad though... apparently I'm supposed to be a cowboy, not the supernerd I really am)
