I'm not that big on hugging. I will with close friends, when I haven't seen them for a while, or if they need me to and vice versa. But other than that I won't go out of my way to do it.

I hug people, kids at my school dont hug much except for a few guys and they totally sqwoosh me. *squewsh, sqwesh, sqwush

I think some times it can be a cultural thing, I find that most Italians love to hug where as Germans don’t like to. Being mostly German myself, the thought of hugs made me feel uncomfortable but the actual hugs were great, so I began to force myself to hug people. Now, although I still shake hands with acquaintances, if I consider them “family” I won’t settle for anything less than a hug.

Perhaps your friends just need a little training, like I did.

If you're getting breasts in your face, you're doing it wrong, try getting the taller person to bend over. That is unless you're like Guitar and want breasts in your face.
