No idea what the date is on my milk... Seeing as the fridge has been shut down since early Saturday morning it doesn't much matter anyways.
12 days expired now...still used a little this morning...i will be buying new milk today and throwing the rest out...new record 12 days...WHAT WHAT WHAT
I buy a pint of Chocolate milk every morning and drink it about 2 hours latter after it has been sitting in the freezer. I like it ice cold. I never have milk at the house, I don't drink or use it much.
Ive noticed over the years i drink less and less milk...and a i love chocolate milk...good idea Tazer This milk that is old, is the first one ive bought in a few weeks, and i cant even finish it..
You used to be able to get raw milk from a farm years ago, but there's probably a law against it now, I'm guessing. The expiration date on milk is put there by the company for the companies reputation. They don't want to take a chance you might get a sour taste once and then switch brands on them. Once you open seals on food it expires faster. I read an article where they found a can of corn from the thirties and they said it smelled edible when they opened it. They tested it and found some vitamin loss in the corn, but they didn't try eating it. I go through around 4 gallons of milk (or so) a week. It never has a chance to get close to the expiration date.
