My First Grow.... (Item 9)

what are you watering with..make sure if its 'tap' that it sits over night in the container to evaporate the chlorine...

 

thankfully i don't have to do that with my tap water but definately if you use city water or shitty well water u should let it set out to let off the chlorine

 

Day 5 September 29th
Alright, so I still have two plants! When i went to plant I may have damaged the root growth of one because it never really took root that good, I'm not sure if this is me or not? But finally after a good watering and some waiting it proved to be a trooper and is now getting some good growth.. One of my plants is seriously taking off!! 4 leaves in 5 days of soil!!!! I am EXTATIC!!! My camera dosn't have a Macro shot mode but I have a "flower" setting (how apropriate!) and I think i got some good pics!

Btw... Tell me if you think my larger plants leaves are drooping? They seemed to perk up right after wattering so i think they were just thirsty...
OH!!! and they colour of its stem from about 3/4 up all the way down is this amazing almost metallic hazey purple!! GOOD?

Yes, I get tap water.. but the tap water where i live is very clean (i feel like) as opposed to city water. (although I could be wrong) and also i let it sit for 48+ hours just as an added precaution

I'm thinking about doing sugar water. Any thoughts on this?

DAY 8 October 2nd
ok! so Its just been past a week!! My larger plant is doing fantastic i didn't realize how much growth it had till i compared the picture from day 5 to now... I finally found the macro settings for my camera! but i couldn't get a reall good shot of the 3rd leaf set starting to peak out... but its there!!!

and as for the smaller one, its doing very well I can see the 2nd leaf set comming out now! i still think the root tip got damaged but if its growing now i'm not going to throw it out!

October 5th
well not much to report although.. i was looking at the smaller one and what i thought was a fucked up leaf actualy was 3 little leaves!!! so i now have 2 plants with 3rd leaf sets!! i'm excited looks like i have a sativa and an indica domniate straine.. taking out the scrog screen and switching to lst because the screen was WAY to close to the lights and lst seems a bit easier.. so thats just about it i guess... here is the cannaporn for you guys!!

orison: haha thanks for the pages man! i have greenmans pages printed out and put in a binder that i add notes too!! haha i sound like a nerd but yea, i sit in science class and answer all the herbacious/plant questions and in math i make up new grow box ideas haha i'm just one big ol' 420nerd! lmao thanks again for the info!

Some of them leafs look water damaged to me but good to see ya finally got a start.

 

Update of their big beuatiful 3rd Leaf sets comming tommorrow!!!

Rock: if your refering to the small plant, I believe you are correct I placed it in the cup after germination and I thought I damaged the root tip so I watered on a 3 day schedual for about a week and it was ready for I on some day but others I think I mistook the signs of overwatering (the droopy leaves and what not) for drought and ended up over watering it... It has recovered a bit though so no worries

they're in a cab, pretty small. and don't worry he's got quite a mutated plant himself, though that one was off a bagseed.

those sprouts are agent orange off of subcool.

 

Yea, my bag shwag is pretty mutated... But they are on the 5th leaf set so officialy starting veg growth I guess... Camera died so I gotta run to wally-world and grab a battery For an official update soon

 

update!! October 17th day 23

Ok... No pics yet... Camera broke... But a minor setback happened... I was worried that I was over watering my babies so I didn't water for alittle while just to let the roots die out... Well on the day that I should have watered them I ended up going out of town!!! So 24 hours later they were rather wilted... I watered them well and they have sprang back nicely.. It has stunted there growth for the time being but now that they are in bigger pots (I transplanted them) and I hope to see them spring back to full life capt. If you would let me see a few pics of your friends plants around day 23 It would help alot just to see how far behind my girls are...
