Awww luxie you are beautiful! great shots! I sooo cannot wait until my dreads are nice and long... luckily my shrinkage is at a minimum now... so they're finally gaining some weight!

twist and rip is where it's atas long as you do it lightly and leave about 2inches at the root and it only took like and hour
I think their growing now, well I hope they are! I don't want them to shrink up anymore
this was at about 2months

now that green bead is past my eye to my cheek, horrrah!

Dunno luxie, they look shorter in that last pic, could just be the way you're standing though. I don't think that matters, they look so stunning. Did I get that right they are only at 3 months now? If so they look so advanced for dreads that young. Your friend that did them for you should be given a prize! I'm sure they look far more advanced than backombed dreads would at the same age, maybe it's cause your hair is long which is why it worked so well. Either way congrats.

 

Yeh I reckon length makes a big difference, coz it automatically makes dreads sit/drape better

 

think they're at 4months now nearly 5. yah my friends has magic hands
they feel realli tight now thoughsome parts around the front are still loose but thats maybe cuz I twiddle them..? I want them to start growing already! thanks though M
and Amy, whats your obsession w my hands. some people find them weird cuz they're so long and skinny

 

They just look like nice arty hands and often stand out in pics...to me anyway lol

 

they are pretty great, they can do lots of things like open a bottle of wine, insert tampons.
