Welcome back luxie. Your hair looks like it did get shrinky while you were away. I need to ask, did you take Riloh with you on teh trip or was it a girl's holiday? I'm totally jealous either way. More so if you were babyless. lol

I couldn't find any prom pics, but imagine me in a knee length slinky black slip dress (found at a thrift store), my granny's fox stole and green Doc's.

 

I don't know how I missed a 35 page thread after all this time! Luxie, your dreads look fantastic and are definitely reaching a turning point of major shrinkage! A year from now they are going to look sooooo different! How old are they now?

 

Riloh was with me of course I went with my husband, Riloh and then my momma, brothers and sisters which was great for babies first proper holiday as there were people to help us take care of him and I was able to be in the sun and go to the beach when he was napping. He was amazing for the whole trip. Even on the planes-never cried once!

they are coming up to 8months in a week or so I think. when I think of a year I'm like geez that's so long away, I am looking forward to some growth even though I like this length. but then the past 9months of having Riloh has gone by soo fast so I just have to forget about my head and then hopefully one day I'll wake up pleased with flowing locks

oh luxie you're little one is so cute, i love babies, my old roomates had a little one and we lived with him from 4-9months, it was the greatest! how old is he now? sorry if this was answered.
babes are so sweet, i work in a mall and i can't help myself but chat with and talk to the little kids and babies who come through, they're so sweet.

Riloh's expressions always crack me up

 

he does have the funniest lil expressions, think it's in the eyebrows. I can't wait for him to talk properly to see what he has to say, I think he's going to be hilarious. He can say 'dada' 'baba' (when he's looking in a mirror) 'hiya' and 'day day' so far he's 9mos Knotty 10 on the 23rd. thankoo for all your nice words xxx

no he's not walking yet...just rolling around like crazy.

those sprinkle things were given to us after an Indian meal, they were kind of weird. I can't remember the name of them but they are a type of seed covered in sugar or something. Not very nice but I didn't realise that till I ate that bowl and got a weird after taste :ack2:

 

ahh I hate those things, they taste like anise! I think they are fennel??

 

I despise those things...I thought they were black licorice shit seeds or something. or thats what they taste like to me anyways...blah
