yey! it's actually quite good for £19, they last for agessssssssssssss, cuz you don't need to use as much as you think. remember that ^-^
dreads look sick dude. I really like them . you should keep posting progress pics cause that is cool lol
Bloody hell! Got my Lush soap through today! Insanely quick postage! They smell gorgeous, very very sweet and natural Washing Friday Night I think Fookin' hell though, in the packaging there was loads of popcorn, but it turned out to be polystyrene(sp) Alex
they use popcorn for their packaging, it's kinder to the earth than that poljaeuhfika??? how do you mean it turned out to be poleauhedskaj?
I thought it was polystyrene packaging! I ate some, it was disgusting How does the lush soap bar compare with bronners on encouraging knots & natural kinks etc? Thanks Alex
I've never used bronners but I definitely have a lot of bumps and loops and things ^-^ so I'd say quite well. Also mine are turning up at the end, not sure if that has anything to do w/ the shampoo though? idk..
WOO! Thankyou Luxie Washed them tonight with a deep clense then the lush bars They smell sooo good, nice and natural too Took a VERY good rinse as it didn't want to get out the core of them, but pleased with results Thanks! Alex
Right well, im hungover but feeling really happy with my dreads, over the last few washes alot of loops have folded over and fused with the rest of the dread! This is a photo from earlier so let me off for the lack of emotion I now have an aloe vera plant which is very useful! The back is really coming together alot more now although they do tend to be rather flat in some places. Although alot of broken hairs are poking out in alot, any idea's as to why? Regardless of what I use to wash them or how much aloe vera I apply ever few weeks they won't go away Appeared over the last couple of months. My anniversary is coming up, although I surely should count it from last time I combed it? They were backcombed & Beeswaxed for months upon months till mid july, then I just let them go after reading this place. Thanks Alex EDIT - Don't know why the bottom blonde one looks so ginger!
Be sure to read the ingredients on your Lush bar....might have SLS in it. They use Sodium Coco-Sulfate in the bars that don't have SLS. Sodium Coco-Sulfate is not natural, as some would like us to believe. Yes, it comes from a coconut, but it goes through numerous chemical processes to get it from coconut to lathering agent. It's like saying cocaine is natural because it comes from the cocoa leaf, and we all know that's not true. http://www.lushusa.com/shop/products/hair/solid-shampoos "Most of our bars are sodium lauryl sulphate-free." I don't understand why any shampoo bar needs those ingredients??? Saponified oils will produce a great lather, so why the chemicals?
