Ok guys, well I washed with Dr.B's earlier, upped the ratio a bit, it wasnt even 12 - 1!
I lathered them all up nice and scrubbed my scalp, they feel alot cleaner but as soon as the water touched them, they suddenly felt slightly sticky :(
They are ok now, just wondered why they did that?
Im getting 4 or 5 dyed on friday (blonde) will be interesting LMAO, will post pics then :)

    Thanks Moon doggie :)
Actually I did! A good 2-3 inches, and thats alot when your hair isn't that long.
Believe me its only starting growing at the roots recently, although its still shrinking:)

    Pic update coming soon ;)
Been bed ridden for the last week and a half :(
Uber man chest infection & cold:(
Dreads have been suffering without my tam! Had a real flat spot the other day, just looking at them, it just seemed to me that there are a few that are seriously loose, I may have a go at crotchet - ing the loose hairs in!
Its annoying me as about 10 of them are seriously tight now :)
    Merry Christmas Folks

do you have a bandanna? i got rid of my tam because it was leaving fluff in my hair, but this bandanna has done a good job of keeping the hair up and out of the way.

During the spring I was bed ridden for a month with pneumonia. I though for sure I wouldn't have any dreads left after it was all said and done. Laying against the back of my head all the time really made things flat. I though it would never go away. I just ignored it, washed them a few times, and before I knew it, they were knottier and more round than before. It takes time, I would advise against crocheting.

is it true that in Europe the legal drinking age is 16?

Not in England, 18. Where I am (Germany) you can buy beer and wine when you are 16. To buy spirits you have to be 18. Don't really know how it is for the rest of continental Europe though.

Thats assuming you're talking about buying alcohol. The rules are slightly different at least in England I think, when one is in a private place, or with one's parents I believe.

Oh wait if you're really interested have a look at this link.

Oh by the way PMiester your dreads look real good! They'll be fine when they get a bit older, I wouldn't bother with crotcheting if I were you.

    nice dude, great progress.

i totally know what you mean by having some pretty loose ones and some really really tight ones, its like 1 and a half years for me and the sides and some randoms are like aaaagh really tight, but yet some others are close to what they were a year ago, except the new growth...damn i love the new growth. they'll all come along tho

just noticed you joined jun 2007 aswell
