I was thinking the same thing.

 

very groovy.. i made a pipe out of a broom handle... cut off the length i wanted drilled through it & put a bowl peice on the top. makein the bowl peice was hard though...hadda use a grinder & a knife. yea well i just figured i'd share that..dig the bong though!

I understand the original bongs were made out of bamboo, invented by Vietnamese villagers and introduced to our soldiers, who then brought them back home so we Americans could start making them out of glass, plastic, ceramic and metal. Your bong is very close to the originals.

Nice job man. Just don't leave the bong water in there after you use it, even if it's not long enough to rot, it might grow some crazy mold and that wouldn't be fun to smoke.
