so i bought a new bike. a fuji "half and half" - half hybrid, half road bike it was about $400, and i get free tune ups for life. it's from a one-man shop close to my house. he says he reassembles all the bikes with higher quality ball bearings, greases the insides real good..he seems to really know his shit when it comes to bikes. it's so much easier to ride and a lot lighter than my 7 year old mountain bike from walmart. that was the point. pics at some point possibly
i rode my bike for the first time in ages the other week, and experienced this! i swear i oculdn't sit down for the rest of the day. it was agony! i can't find a pic of my bike on the net.
I think i'm gonna get a bike tomorrow... i nailed my fingers in my door though, so i dunno if i'll be able to ride it :\ lol
Both hands? I can ride my bike without any hands except when I have to stop or going through a sharp curve, but if you can't you can always ride it with one hand on the steer right.
True true. I just gotta be careful, cause ill have my two fingers stickin straight out...i think i cracked a knuckle
I ride a 2006 Trek beach cruiser. I like it, I spent around $325 for it plus probably $300 on better parts and I think a couple repairs. I want to get a new Trek mountain bike that goes for around $425 plus I'd put at least $200 into it in better parts and tools for it. But I won't get that bike until this one dies.
Going bike shopping with my roomie and her brother tomorrow, but it'll probably be an expensive bike store so I probably won't get one.cool
Just found pics of my bike while looking through my photobucket...it's an 03 Norco 5 hun, converted to single speed and I added some other aftermarket shit. Getting kind of old but it's still in good shape. I haven't been biking too much lately, but I want to get back into it, possibly build a new bike next summer.
