I never understood road bikes, they're cheap and if you live in a city that's good, but aside from that my 21 speed works fine downtown on the streets and fine in the sandy rural roads and fine on trails. As for what my bike is, it's red, and it's a Rockhopper Specialized, so anyone who knows things about bikes, on a scale of 1-10 how good is my bike? I tried to find a picture but all the Rockhoppers i came across first the frame looks thicker and shorter then mine.
Here's mine, spent a few thousand on it. The seller was like a millionaire so I know he spent more on it. It's one of dem hybrids I was told.
For 200 bucks your gonna have to go used, look at some local bike shops that take trade ins and see what they got, also look to see if you town has any form of bike rescue where they fix up old bikes and sell em on the cheap.
I got a bike from sportsmart 18 speed, rigid frame and nice brakes I only paid $175 and it reflects, it feels kinda cheap when you ride it but i replaced the handgrips and it looks pretty damn sexy now Il take a pic tommorow if i remmeber
how much would you think i'd have to shell out for a nice schwinn or something. i thought i saw them at walmart for around $200. i could probably go $300, but i don't see then sense in spending more...
If you get a schwinn get an older one off craigslist or something. New schwinns at wally world are pure shite.
Has anyone else ever noticed that "special "pain that happens when you first ride a bike after not riding one for so long?...I've never once experienced anything quite comparable to it.
