Muslim student to undergo extra security checks because his name was Muhammad

I'm sorry Cat, but it is of my opinion that if you wouldn't run more security checks in that situation then you could well pay for that naivity. A guy named Adolf Hitler today is not the same as a guy named Muhammad, you know full well that there are a whole heap of terrorists going by that name that wish to do harm to the United States.

It would be fantastic to live in a world where we do not need to run more security checks on an individual due to their name. But this is the world we live in now. The middle east celebrates when a suicide bomber from that region where "Muhammad" is a very popular name, fools the west into allowing them access to destroy a small part of it. Running extra security checks is nothing compared to preventing a massacre. It's just the way the west sees things since 9/11.

I also understand that the majority of Muhammads around the world are peaceful. But it only takes one "Muhammad" to create a major disaster, and kill thousands of westerners. It's not like it hasn't happened before, right? I can't believe that people are complaining about a few extra security checks in return for safety.

You don't want my answer because you are stuck in your beliefs that the U.S is so bad and Muslims are so good. Your threads are absolutely biased to what you believe and you won't entertain the thought that you might be wrong or misled. A lot of Muslims in Iraq, Iran, and Palestine, take to the streets and cheer when a suicide bomber destroys a part of the west, I've seen it with my own eyes on our "biased" news channels. ​

This is where I do agree with you, and to be honest I should have addressed it originally. It was wrong for the U.S to charge the guy to have his fingerprints checked. I think that's wrong.

how about evil muslims? Shit loads of those, but I dont see anyone mentioning it here, just that the US goverment is evil. (On which I agree by the way )

 

Muslims actively seek death to those they disagree with, fuck em, if the innocent that stand ASIDE, WATCH AND CLAP GET HASSELED AT THE AIRPORT. oops caps lock. Are you for real??? Let's talk about phobias, a young boy named Darren, is attacked by a pack of dogs and ripped to shreds, he recovers, but is scared to go near dogs again for the rest of his life, do you really blame Darren? Phobias are not funny and should never be dismissed. Anyway it's not the same, the west is not phobic of Muslims just cautious, and with good cause.

Well, considering you have your view and I won't say anything that will change that and I have mine, I'll say yes, that was the problem. The only problem I see is that they charged him cash for it. It's like I say, a few extra security checks are nothing compared to national safety.
