    Opeth!

Everyone needs to read the lyrics to the song The Drapery Falls. After you've read the lyrics through a few times, download the song and trip to it.

To all of you that have yet to experience the glory of Opeth, be sure to read the lyrics first. It will help to realize how amazing it actually is...

Also, Fuck... I'm Dead (for some delightfully brutal deathgrind) and Bjork are just plain amazing while tripping.

Coltrane and Hendrix...both of them took LSD and went out of their way to evoke emotions through notes, via their respective instruments. i did some research on Coltrane and surprising number of people reported spiritual experiences through his music. and Hendrix is self explanatory, i recommend Band Of Gypsies, and his later Experience stuff. the debut is cool, but everything after that is what you want.

Have you heard Coltrane's OM album? I think he was tripping during the recording on LSD :)
If you like Coltrane's spiritual jazzyness, and Band of Gypsies world music mix sound, you would LOVE Don Cherry's 69-76 entire period. Especially his albums Orient, Blue Lake, Relativity Suite, Eternal Rythm, and Live In Ankara. Trust me!

Oh and check out Coltrane's wife's music, Alice Coltrane, specifically her album Joureny In Satchitananda. Some players on the album are Pharoah Sanders, Charlie Haden, and Rashied Ali, so you KNOW you cant go wrong. Also her album Huntington Ashram Monastery. Beautiful stuff friend :)
