Grateful Dead or Phish, for sure. I never could get that into Pink Floyd...the dead are by far the best, imo. C'mon....the Acid Tests....

Any Pink Floyd is always a good idea while tripping. Another fun band is Sigur Ros. The album Hvarf-Heim is fantastic, though for a single song I must recommend Milano off the album Takk.

Actually music sucks while tripping. The only thing that is good is sex.

It's just like... bla bla bla... sorry Jerry Garcia... I really don't care what you have to say to be quite honest. Not in the least.

I finally got to have a real full blown cid trip i had always been reading about but never experienced this weekend for my birthday and it was more then i ever expected.. anyways nothing at all sounding good except touch me and love me two times by the doors, the entire wish you were here album by pink floyd all of which i listen to on a regular basis but my friend put on love story by taylor swift (i usually hate all country except shooter jennings) and it was amazing i just cant describe it it was like just such a roller coaster of a beautiful song

I don't think I've ever mentioned this, but ELO fucking rocks on psychedelics. They may not be your favorite band, but I guarantee you will not have a bad trip while listening to tracks like

    Waterfall

    Strange Magic

    Telephone Line

... they are just too melancholic and sweet. corny, hell yes. but effective :D

I dont think i have ever not enjoyed any music on acid. It's cool to let someone else control the playlist. If they have an eclectic taste in music it can really take u on a journey.

Some of my favorites at the moment are:

Lisa Gerard - Duality (the whole album)
    Starwars soundtrack
Cradle of Filth - any of their stuff
    Carmina Burana (O fortuna)

They are the ones ive listened to in my last couple of trips

    Metal on acid is crazy

One time I had a mystical experience to an In Flames song, it was pretty sick

I don't like tripping to music with lyrics.
