    Yes, but not sure it was not as good due his performance or due to other aspects in that movie. I'm not really into arena fighting in any way for example. How he portrayed Ben Wade is just excellent.
    Btw: Did you know lots of people are convinced Charlie Prince is supposed to be gay in this remake? What do you think?

    I have not seen the movie. I'm so out of the loop with movies, I didn't even know Russell Crowe was in this movie.

    I'm clearly not a Crowe fan in general, but im a fan of this kind of westerns. So although i consider myself fairly out of the loop with recent movies as well, this genre is an exception.
    My fav part in Gladiator as i recall was the battle with the germanic tribes, which was in the beginning.
