his explanation for the borg on earth was that they were from the enterprise-E\ first contact time line

his explanation for the technology schisms between the TOS universe and the enterprise universe totally precluded this argument (picard was TOS universe, archer was supposedly created by voyager going back in time with the 29th century ship to 1996, this was supposedly the enterprise universe whereas the khan conquering asia in 1996 is the picard\kirk universe)


further, klingons had already been explained with the appearance change with imperial race klingons v\ slave or whatever they were calling the other race of klingon, they had a working explanation then they pull this disease shit out of their ass

the timeline was broken

I may not have watched it, but I watched the errors it made, the swathe of destruction through all the carefully lain continuity......

sure they fucked up some but...they did a good job of it...
i mean really, the klingon thing is open ended and pure speculation. Kor Kang and Kolath were in DS9 with the ridges on thier heads and in the old show they had the smooth homan forhead. the borg thing i could buy...im just saying its a good show in the tradition of star trek and i wouldnt just push it away like a strange food that is probably good but your friends say is bad cause they have no real taste.

 

A few years ago there used to be someone who looked just like the pringles guy that bought me beer. He could shotgun warm natty ice too! I've never seen anyone else with that pringles moustache, it was fucking crazy.
