Most over-rated Drug

I agree! One thing I hate is when kids who drink underage bash weed or refuse to try it! You're already breaking the law, and people do way dumber things drunk than when they're high, at least it seems that way. How many nasty drunks have you met compared to nasty potheads? Alcohol was lucky enough to be kept legal, and so some teens buy into the DARE bullcrap and fear weed, yet still drink! I just don't get their mindset...

Speaking about the cheppelle show i had the same fucking experience on salvia.
I was smoking some salvia in my living and watching the chepelle show on my 52 in projection screen tv, when all of a sudden cheppelle starts talking directly to me. I was like " wtf? " then somehow from behind the screen someone throws a curtain and grabs me as i was on the couch. i started to get pulled towards the show and this mettalic like material was getting stuck on me. it was fucking freaky!
I never tried meth, heroine,dxm, or lsd. From my experience I think cocaine is the most over rated drug. It's expensive, the uppie high is short lived and gets you craving for more, and you feel kinda shady on it. It kinda makes me feel like a drug addict.

 

I agree, both Opiates and Exstacy are the only drugs that met the expectations I had for drugs before I started doing them.

 

well for my 2nd year of highschool i became friends with a preps that wre just like that. apparently lots of them think that weed is "dirty" and get the impression that every pothead is a lowlife because of how they are portrayed in movies and shit. honestly, i will admit that before smoking pot i had the same idea that potheads were like this, and was always so against pot in that way, and until i tried it myself and became friends with other potheads, then i realised that just because they smoke pot doesn't mean that pot is theire life.

I dunno.. they're pretty dumb to be doing all the time. they leave you with depleted neurotransmitters afterwards, so you feel like crap when you come down, and it only gets worse, the more you do it..bliss? temporarily, perhaps. they certainly make you more ignorant, the more you take them. same with coke, and amps (including mdma).

Definately coke! Is it supposed to give like a feeling or somethin? Cos it does nothing for me except keep me up all night and stops me from eating! Waste of money...also tried acid twice and both times didn't work,but they were probably duds...unless my body is very resistant. Mixing E with shrooms is the best for me.

 

I said XTC because it doesn't work on me. I tried it on three separate occasions, and all it ever did for me was kind of make my butt tingle. On every occasion the people with me who had taken the same pills were rolling like crazy. Oh, well. So that's why I personally find X overrated.
I have absolutely no interest in anything like coke, crack, meth, etc. and I really don't get why people do them. Then again since I'm about 300 pounds a concern I would have is the risk of heart attack, and that doesn't apply to every one. However, all that stuff is addictive and I generally think it is a good idea to stay away from addictive stuff.
Another way over rated drug is Amyl nitrite, it just makes me feel vaguely dizzy and gives me a head ache. But for some reason all the other guys at the gay bars seem to think it's wonderful.
As for DXM, it is one of my absolute favorites and I don't know why people talk shit about it. First, criticizing it for being cough medicine is absurd. If they started putting LSD in some over the counter med you'd all run out and buy it. I rather like the feeling that I am sticking it to the man by buying a legal product and using it to trip. And, as someone else mentioned it is CLEANER because it is a legally sold substance. It cost less than other drugs, so it is more financially viable to take really big doses. It never makes me feel sick, and contrary to what someone else said above, it does defiantly make me TRIP balls! I have had acid and shrooms, so I know what tripping is, and I find the DXM experience extremely similar. I get audio and visual hallucinations from DXM, and my mind enters another dimension (so to speak) just like on the other hallucinogens. Sure, acid and shrooms are better, but I don't have the money or connections. I have taken 125 x 15 milligrams and almost always have a fun time.

 

I have to say marijuana because there are no visuals involved and all it does is make you feel good. Haluigens give you intense visuals. But Marijuana is still good.

 

I would say marijuana.... dont get me wrong its amazing... but people that have never tried it exspect it to be some hardcore meth or something.. they always think its ganna hurt them when from my point of view is the safest thing ever

well of course Vicodins are crap to someone with a opiate tolerance..but if u dont have an addiction or tolerance then Hydrocodone is just fine to get you high..i remember when i used to LOVE hydrocodone back in the day (it was the first opiate i tried) and it worked great, for a lil while then tolerance comes into play and u have to start going and gettin the big boys like OC, Dilaudid, Fentanyl, shit like that to stay 'well'

I don't see how anyone who has had an effective trip on acid could ever call the drug overrated. The experience is provided to you via the drug, this is true, but the trip itself is as profound and deep as you and your perception of life. ...with fireworks!

I would have to say DXM,,i simply don't see what people like about this.

 

To not get a new perspective out of LSD is virtually impossible unless you put none of
yourself into it. You have to give yourself to the trip. Still there are no blase acid trips,
only bad acid.

I drank a bottle of robo once. It just made me sick and it felt like I was drunk. I stumbled around and lost my balance a lot. Nothing fun about that. It's retarded. Maybe because I don't enjoy being drunk anyway...anyway, there's a reason why it's legal. There's low potentional for abuse because most people don't enjoy getting high off dxm. If that were the case with opiates or marijuana, for example, these drugs would be available OTC too.
