That maybe so, but it's just not a train of thought that I follow. I can appreciate the perspective though, I used to think like that too. Wasn't very practical though. At any rate, there is one thing you know that can never be doubted; the fact that you exist.
haha! it's all relative. it is very useful in the pursuit of knowledge. i'm not saying i have no knowledge, but true wisdom is the ability to continually embrace new perspectives and never accept anything as absolute Truth. when you do that, you lose perspective and the ability to learn. about the cliche thing: i would say that books and movies wherein a child gets a pet, falls in love with it, and then the animal is killed are very cliche. do you think this is because i don't understand it? i say it is because these stories are ubiquitous and yet the message is important and universal enough that people continue to watch them.
hmm.. I'd say that of course you understand it, but do you FEEL it? Let's say that a real child who just lost a real pet watched the same movie. It would be very meaningful to them, and even though we might have been in their shoes in the past, they would get it more than us, b/c it's happening in their moment. You and I are older, and we've seen this same type of movie time and time again. This type of movie might seem boring and elementary to us; rehashed beyond belief. So does that mean the central feelings and message behind the movie are cliched, or does it mean that we have just become dull to it?
If memory serves Mira Furlan who played the Mimbari Ambassador Delenn on Babylon-5 said that very phrase Hotwater
those kinds of movies make me cry time and time again, despite the fact that the plotline is old. i am not really jaded in that sense; i am a very empathetic type. however, i do recognize the fact that the plotline is trite. a cliche expresses a common idea. your definition of a cliche is in fact the very contradiction of what it actually is, so i really can't see where you are coming from at all.... edit: i think you should check out the definition of cliche http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/cliche
that's it. I have had enough of this kid stuff. say goodbye to the bad guy. catch the rest of ya'll on the flip side.
and not straight at all. nick, do you wander about grabbing women's breasts and not getting the normal thrill from it?

I'm just a bit busy with work and I'm moving in like 3 weeks so I'm not bothering setting up internet. Everythings going smooth though. Terrible smooth.
Where are you moving - if you don't mind saying? Well I'm glad everything is going smooth for you. For me it's kinda the opposite, as always. Ah well.
Eh, just from one side of Fort Worth to the other. I'm in the west side now, a bit thugey, and I'm moving to the north side of town in a few weeks. Which is still a little thug, but it's into a house instead of an apartment. I decided to take today off to vote and do a few errands. Only took untill like 10:00 so now I'm just enjoying the break. I work far too hard. I'm sorry things aren't working out homegirl. I bet thing'sll get better soon.
