wyoming is cold move to florida!!! yeah we got lots of mosquitoes, but if you live in the city/suburbs you'll be alright. they spray for them bitches all the time.
When I go out into the woods in addition to using bug spray I wear an insect repellent shirt “BUZZ OFF” insect shield which works great and you can wash it up to 100 times before it loses its effectiveness :2thumbsup: Hotwater

They were some kind of black fly. Yucky looking. About regular size... not the real huge ones and not small. Just, kinda regular looking dark flies that bite the shit outta you. oh and if you'd even try the natural, non-DEET bug spray they sell at the campgrounds there, that shit seems to attract them even more.
They are attracted to carbon dioxide among other things. Not breathing does not tend to be a great option.

That stuff was brutal. My father use to fog the screens when the bugs were really bad. It killed them but it also damn near killed us. You could smell it for days after it was used.
I know that , I was being funny . Untill the late 60s or early 70s many bug killers had d.d.t. in them . As I remember it made eagle or condor eggs break before hatching and they banned it .
Mosquitos are not a bit problem around hear , we do see a few tho. They have these fish that eat the larva they put in some lakes and ponds .
