i'd rather ask my plumber to tell me how to vote than some whacked out fucking celeb, even the ones i really like IN MOVIES. their job is to entertain me. i don't find their social opinions the least bit valid to my existance.

 

The fact that they are well known doesn't automatically make them social/political experts any more than being a politician makes somebody qualified to star in a motion picture.

Black history month is a crock...I'm sorry but it is...

What if we had WHITE history month? Oh yeah, the media would be all over that. I hate the "race card".

 

Like many other black-only things, it's a holdover from a time when it really was relevant. Like it or not, there was a time when the achievements of blacks in the U.S. was largely ignored by the education system. That isn't really the case anymore, but political correctness reigns supreme now, so good luck getting rid of it.

Fortunately we're moving into more enlightened times where history in general is being ignored or radically revised to fit an agenda.
