I really need a good fucking no joke it's making me act out

 

I spent most of Friday rescuing a mama cat and her litter of 4. Took forever to catch them and I was putting them in a large dog crate for transport to the shelter. Lost 2 of them while trying to transfer from trap to crate and spent over an hour trying to catch them. Hubby helped, but those little babies were fast, running all over the garage and hiding in places I didn't think they'd fit into.

Then I get to the shelter and they're all calm and allow the shelter worker to reach in the crate and pull them out one-by-one. They didn't even make a sound during the ride (crate was in the back of my SUV). Mama snuggled with the runt (the only one who looked like her) the entire time, and I swear she was happy to be "off the streets".

It looked like she smiled at me when they took her away...
