    Yeah but you only get a tax rebate if you earn less than 4000 whatever it was pounds in a year (tax year). So chances are even if you leave your job before you've been there a full tax year you aren't going to get anything back.

    I think here in Portugal you can earn 10,000 euros before paying tax.
