How to make a Waterfall Bong

This is essentially a variant on the gravity. You take a bottle (I use a
2-litre) and drill a small hole (about 3/8") in the bottom, at the lowest
point. Cover this hole with your finger and fill the bottle up. Then, attach a filled bowl to the top (I use the same Coke-bottle lid as the gravity) and light the dope. Uncover the hole out the bottom, and as the water drains out, the smoke will be drawn in. Keep the bowl lit and let the water drain out, and by the time you're done you have a 2-litre bottle full of concentrated smoke. Just suck from the top and uncover the hole at the bottom to hoot. This is also an extremely efficient design, as very little smoke can escape.

I saw the above post on a marijuana site with tips on how to roll blunts and make home mades and stuff haha. I've yet to make the waterfall bong but gravity bongs and joint are all i use anymore.

Those are alright, kind of annoying though because you have to stand by the sink if you are inside. We call those taking portals.

 

personally i dont like waterfall bongs or gravity bongs..the fact that the smoke isnt cooled and filtered through some good icecold water actually defeats the purpose of it being a "bong" I know some people may disagree but thats just my opinion..

 

okay wow i remade my grav bong to make it fully and totally airtight, and holy jesus i see what the fuss is about. i couldn't see for the longest time, mild hallucinations all over the place... one hit just grabbed me right by the balls lol

lol another update on that remade grav bong... i did not expect to get this high from it, haha... i've been high for like 8 hours off of two hits at 9 AM

 

if i remember correctly (it's been ages since i made one of these) but a 3/4's inch socket should fit right into the top of a 2 liter and then just tin foil the socket to make your bowl and there ya go

 

one thing i noticed about the grav bong is that it doesn't seem to really kick in very hard until i smoke through a pipe/joint... it may be just coincedental, but it seemed like I wouldn't be high at all after taking the hit until I smoked the remnants of the bowl in a pipe, then it would suddenly nail me. anyone else have this experience?

 

I took one hit off of a gravity bong, and it didnt really hit me at first, then we decided to roll a blunt instead, and halfway through the rolling process i was rolling around on the floor laughing..OFF 1 HIT!

 

haha, everyone talks about these one-hit experiences, i just think i still haven't made the gravity bong entirely correctly, because i definetly don't get them... i smoke a couple bowls out of a grav bong and i am FUCKED, but not on one hit.

My friend made one at her house and we used it beside her boat house, which is technically her property but we were on the other side of the fence (if that makes sense to you) Anyway, we left it out there so we wouldn't have to bring the damn thing back out when we went to smoke more, and in the time we were gone her stupid neighbor came and stole it.
I dunno what she did with it though.

 

that happened to me too!!!! i left mine outside on some steps behind this barn-like thing near my residence, and the next day it was gone! so sad. i didn't have the heart to make another haha

 

We call em buckets in australia and I pretty much smoke em exclusivly.

A few tips:
Use a 2 litre coke bottle. After many years of smoking buckets I have found out that the coke bottle shape is the best. Also if you use a milk or juice bottle the caps arent usually strong enough and will melt in a large session.
Make sure the conepeice is in the cap with absolutly no air leaking in the sides as it will make the end effect less potent.
Try putting a ping-pong ball inside the bottle, it should stop the water from entering your mouth if you suck too hard.

Ill post up some pics of mine. It's what we call a porta-bucket, its made up of a 2 litre coleman cooler and a 1.25 litre coke bottle. As the name suggests its portable.

 

i think its better if you are already a little fucked up before you use the g-bong like light a j or blunt then take a hit you'll be blown for hours oh and remember to hotbox the house you are doing it in thats the best.
