vigilanteherbalist2 (not sure how to shorten it, huh ) just looked at your pics in the other thread, so gorgeous (pics, you, dreads...)!

There were loads of dreadheads at the festival, I was going through major dread envy - I want my dreadies to be softer and more natural, not so stiff, ech.

Dreadies are looking fine and this place is overflowing with northeners :willy_nilly: I can't handle it

Smelly, I think that it massively depends on the picture, got some narcissistic shots, maybe they'll look a bit better in those... Hate being in pictures, argh, but what I wouldn't do for the dreadies...

Also, I'll always want them to be 'better'. Don't get me wrong, I love 'em, but I'm a perfectionist. It's a disease...

 

You miss are freaking adorable! Don't let dread envy get ya down, there's people that envy YOUR dreads!

Dread envy is a PITA, even I get it still, I see a guy with dreads down to his ass and he's about 6' + Mine are just about down to my ass but I'm a short as at 5'3 :/

 

i find that with length and not fucking with them comes softer more flexible locks. like anything pertaining to locks, i think it just requires patience. thank you for the compliments, and you can call me whatever lol. people here have come up with some interesting stuff including vig, vigi, vag, vigil etc.

 

I've been trying to get some reasonable pics of the dreadies. Results below. Most of them are in the bathroom (sorry!), as the light was the best there in my old flat...

Yeah, they're different colours - they've been dyed 3 different colours + my hair naturally has a few lighter sections (plus goes way blonder in the sun). The blonder one you can see in the first picture is the tip - they were light ginger and went blond with time :]
