Problem. You're trying to spin everything on its head

the Chinese do disregard the environment, much like India. They carbon footprint is incredibly bad, because people say this does not make them racist.

Furthermore, though no one really know what did happen with the twin towers- the middle east is propagating a war with the Americans right now. I am not a racist to say that, it's true. And anyways, you're disregarding a whole bunch of middle eastern countries that people have no 'prejudice' about.

And finally, blacks. I've never heard anyone call a black man unintelligent because of his skin color. Coming back to muslim faith, they believe gangster culture and the music is a 'pathway to hell'. They prohibit avid followers to listen to the songs because of the terrible message of, well, criminality, thuggery and being 'up to no good'. You can't turn around and say some of that bias is racist when I am listening to some guy on the radio refer to me as a cracker and how he wants to 'pop a cap up in ya ass'. The proof is in the pudding, i'm afraid.

One thing I have noticed is minority groups, if they are even minority anymore, have a tendency of calling out white people for every little thing we have done- claiming ignorance on our part and almost threat what the future will bring. Once we say that we don't appreciate global pollution and war we get called racists. Those sorts of problems, if left untreated, will cause huge harm to our world.

Find some stereotypes that are fair enough. Because, as stereotypes go, I could argue that all white people are regarded as racist. This is not true, and I don't appreciate that standpoint. Does that make you racist for believing this, or are we playing double standards? It really fucks me off.

Just a few bones to pick here:

I think if you look you will find that the U.S. has been/is the biggest polluter in the world.

Excuse me here, but I, along with millions of other Americans watched the second plane fly into the towers live and up close on TV. The only doubt that exists is in the minds of a few wacky conspiracy theorists who have their own agendas.

The Middle East is not "propagating a war with the Americans." We're the ones who attacked them.

You don't get out much and you've evidently never been in the South. I hear it almost every day.

China and India are the two quickest growing, and thus, are producing hugely devastating amounts of pollution. The Copenhagen Summit failed because of the Chinese. So you're being pedantic, i'm looking at it factually, now. America were game for change, allegedly.

I watched the twin towers live on the television. You know as much as I know as to whether it was the Islam culture to blame or not. Islam stands for peace. This argument is all subjective, so as much as I value your opinion, mines just as relevant. It is a sad story, but even the conspiracy theories stand up for themselves a little.

I mean, long story short, the biggest oil reserves in the world are in Iraq and Canada. If America EVENTUALLY does deplenish their oil reserve like many think they will, then that's evidence enough it could have easily been a stitch up. Watch your backs, Canada.

And no, I don't hear that sort of slur about black people around here. We are a multiethnic community here in the UK, so maybe we are a little more grown up. And even still, had people been saying it, i've been ridiculed for being white in downtown areas of my city.

Point is, it's all swings and roundabouts, i'm afraid.

Even with oil washing ashore and wildlife dying, pictures of oil still on the shores of Alaska and their lives at a virtual halt, the people in the Gulf states are still chanting "drill baby drill." Electric cars are rare and huge SUVs are plentiful. There is very little change in America for environmental improvement.

It wasn't Islamic culture, it was a few radical nuts.

Never been to the UK and don't claim to know anything about the culture aside from what I see in documentaries and learn from people like you. That's one reason I like these multicultural boards.

I live near a college town that attracted many people from Europe in the 80s and 90s. I had the opportunity to meet many of them and learned much of their personal opinions and customs. I did find these people to be generally a lot less bigoted than we are here.

Divide and conquer. Try again. I have never met an Asian who has used a slur against me. Now anglos are another story. Your post is completely wrong. What would Asians have to be mad at Blacks about? Bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Internment camps? Overthrowing the Hawaiian Kingdom? Napalm and agent orange? That's right. The Blacks did that, but you tried to stop 'em!

Thanks for your response. I don't even know where to start. Everyone on this board can cite stats and whatnot to no end, but in the end we are not stats. We are people. You can not justify the awful (and sadly but undeniably ongoing) history that the anglo has imposed on EVERY group in america since its beginning by citing stats.

And a very sly attempt at divide and conquer
Do you honestly think that Arabs and Hispanics are happy about their treatment by the anglo? We are all free to identify ourselves with the ethnic/racial group of our choosing. Obama identifies as Black for example. Do you honestly think that a Muslim Arab would dare call himself white? Please tell me you know better. If you are banking on Arabs and Hispanics, please go into Saudi Arabia or to an Arab portion of Afghanistan and proudly declare how great you have treated their people. Tell them (again) that you are really their friends :). Next, roar down to arizona and tell the Mexicans the same thing.

If the anglo is so great to so many people then why does the WHOLE world hate america? And the "friendly" non anglo countries are only "friendly" to get anglo money.

The middle east's issues lie mainly with the United States, not the white race. Why don't we ask the Palestinians how they feel about the Jews. Or the Iranians about the Iraqis, or the Lebanese against the Syrians, or the Berbers about the Arabs.

Actually the world doesn't hate America, it's a cliche. If the world hates America we wouldn't have millions of immigrants still coming here, and allies around the world. US culture predominates world wide from Russia to India to Nigeria. The world hates our government, not us.

You need to realize that they like the MONEY. I know this firsthand because I have had many friends from various middle eastern countries tell me this. If they could have a descent standard of living in their country, they would not come to America. This is why MOST of the ones I knew personally LEAVE america when they get their degree!!
    from http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20100714-704930.html
"Loy said benefits of investing abroad include more attractive capital-gains taxes, and a stream of talented, foreign-born U.S. graduate students returning to home countries such as China that has recently "turned into almost a flood."

From my experience they are either indifferent towards americans, or they can't stand, but tolerate them.

The american media is obviously doing a good job at spinning and misguiding (Shirley Sherrod anyone?) if you really think that you would be welcomed with open arms anywhere in the world for any reason other than money.

They want to be bankrupt? :p

Soon developing countries will be able to with financial assistance from China. Latin Americans and Africans, if wise with their generous Chinese gift will build a greater future for their people. If/when minorities in america collectively model their lifestyles after the Chinese, we too will be at the top.

Personally I have lots of problems with the way the USA behaves. And so do many countries with white majorities. We actually have a black president who is continuing many of the imperialist policiues and so I dont see how criticism of USA policies can be related to criticism of white people.

OK. Lets make this thread a bit more interesting. Anglos, if you could dictate my opinion to me, what would you dictate in regards to my views on China, america, and anglos. Also please keep in the front of your mind the many unfortunate circumstances that minorities have always had to endure and will have to continue to endure over and over and over agiain until change occurs (I believe that change must come from within with Blacks, Mexicans, and other vilified groups embracing enlightenment and denouncing present harmful ways that relevant people currently embrace). What would my new opinion be?

I know it's racial profiling, and they aren't supposed to do it. I'm not condoning it, I'm not saying it's right. I'm just saying, shit happens and the dickhead cops lie and say shit like "Oh, the black guy in the 2008 BMW 535 I pulled over? Yeah, he was, ummm, weaving suspiciously." Bullshit.

Like I said, I don't demonize anyone. I hate hearing about this shit, but I guess what I was trying to say is I can understand why the cops profile you. It's bullshit that they do, but they are trying to do their job and keep us safe and catch the bad guys (So they can take their weed). And I guess, I understand why they play the numbers game.

Good luck, and I hope they don't mess your life up too much.

What, like make a rule? No, there shouldn't be a rule. Rules and regulations are often bad, that is why I don't like Obama and the liberals. I just believe that in a few hundred year there will be a homogenization of the races and we will be a little worse off because of it.

I have actually dated three latinas (and yes they were all here legally.)

So by default I'm the "bad guy"? And no anglo will ever mess up my life. The one thing I am grateful for about america is that we are a very sue happy country. I'll either make my money working, or by suing. I'd much rather be left alone to work.

The actions of terrorist don't represent the general public. Afghanis still by near 90% support the toppling of the Taliban and support NATO troops still being there, guess they don't hate us too much after all.

Also the US, Canada and Europe give far, far more in developmental aid to the third world than China does, though all combined it's still not enough.

I prefer economic regulations over social regulations.
