A man died in the road with a police officer kneeling on his neck. His ethnicity should not be part of the narrative. No person should die like this. It should never have happened but it did. Life had no rewind button. Rioting and looting will not bring him back nor will it prevent something like this from happening again. Trying to score cheap political points benefits neither side in the long run. Instead of wasting energy burning and pillaging, this energy should be used to ensure that as far as possible this terrible deed is seldom if ever repeated. Humans have the ability to talk and to reason with each other ... use this ability in the memory of the Late George Floyd. RIP.

The White Supremacists have come out in four states that I know about. When protestors marched to object to the killing of George Floyd, the White Supremacists came out to the streets in Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Crown Point, Indiana ... armed with guns, with knives, and with base ball bats. In New York the were arrested before they were able to use their weapons. In Las Vegas they were arrested before they could use their explosives. The White Supremacists are too stupid to change at all.

I don't know. Things are being talked about... Actual policy and how to reform police departments. I don't know what is good policy or not but maybe something comes out of it and maybe it will be a good thing. I don't think there’s reason to believe you need a majority of citizens to join a protest for it to be effective. That doesn't seem to be how these things have worked in the past.

 

George Floyd served his time in jail and paid his debt to society.

When he was murdered by the police he was a free man, although placed in custody by the police for allegedly
passing a counterfeit $20 dollar bill. There's no evidence to suggest he knew it was counterfeit
