Then the Defense Secretary said the troops from the 82nd would go home today, then Esper said they would stay on Trump's orders. Then Defense said they would stay. That's all just two days after Trump himself called the Democrat governors "weak" and "jerks" because they did not put down the protestors; And, he warned them that he would invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807 to send in US Troops into each of their states to be used against the protestors. Trump is mentally ill and anti-American. He does not like our First Amendment.

 

All the voters give a _______! Trump's approval is down to 10% and with disapproval at 75% and early voting starts in120 days. In January Chuck Schumer will take control of the Senate.

 

His behavior is Helter-skelter because he doesn’t know what to do amid this crisis,

The one thing he should do is to show empathy and unify the american people but he can’t, he doesn’t know how. his thoughts inevitably drift back to himself

Three former military men have been arrested in Las Vegas. They have been charged with terrorism laws. The three were caught with Molotov cocktails which they were about to use during the protest for George Floyd. They were going to start violence so it could be blamed on peaceful protestors. They were determined by the Clark County prosecutor to be a part of a loose organization of former military men who use the name "Boogaloo" with plans to instigate a race war.

 

Their behavior, though certainly inexcusable, is not the atrocity in this situation.

 

I didn’t participate in the protests.....I’m 75 and getting roughed up by the police is not something I would have a chance of surviving; but I owe the patriotic people of all races who did, my heartfelt thanks. Nothing in Trumps response to this issue, or any other for that matter changes my believe that he is seriously deranged. As for the people who still support him............... Apparently, hundreds of thousands of Americans are ready for a new day of equality, respect, and love for everyone, not just the hollow promises of the wealthy, powerful and oh so bigoted. I lived in St Paul in the 1960’s and as a student didn’t recognize the systematic racism that had routed I 94 thu a black neighborhood and the red-lining that effectively stone-walled housing for many community members. All of us need to offer sincere apology to the family of George Floyd and start the amends process by ending the horror of racism in every corner of our nation including the White House.... Right Now.
