Minneapolis Police Choke Handcuffed Man to Death

  1. Nope, never heard of it. Stupid bait question designed to make me doubt my position. It doesn't.

When you're part of a riot, cops don't care about press passes. I don't "like" that, but that is exactly the way things are. And I'm positive this reporter knew that well and took a known risk in covering a riot. I applaud his effort actually. But I don't applaud him whining about the inevitable. At least he wasn't hit by any of the debris or firebombs being tossed about.

We're supposed to care about the "feelings" of someone who willingly ran into a riot? Nope, this was nothing more than an accepted job hazard.

There nothing to talk about she was involved in one complaint out of 18,

Officer Chauvin was the subject of 10 conduct complaints that resulted in no disciplinary action, and 8 internal complaints,

Then explain to me why the governor of Minnesota is about to hold a press conference on last nights activities which will include an apology
to the CNN reporter(s) for their unwarranted arrest?

  4. Yea, but politically it exposes her. It doesn't matter if she didn't do it in several cases, she did it in 1. Why give her a pass? Because she's a democrat?

She ran cover for a dirty cop. How many times must she do that before it "counts" to you?

  5. Because the governor is an obvious pussy. Look how much shit just went down on his watch. He's a bum.

I think the video in full detail is what really sets this apart, in terms of reaction, perhaps exacerbated by more people being at home and out of work due to Covid-19 (Got you Orison).

Being outraged by police brutality and not condoning riots of BLM are not mutually exclusive positions. Although, personally I think some level of rioting was justifiable, ideally they would have spared the local shops and grocery stores and just targeted the pig pen.

The event was filmed live on national/international TV. The reporters weren't "part of a riot", they were reporting on it and recording it, which is what the press does in free countries. The reporters were completely cooperative with the police and agreed to move wherever the police wanted them to move. And they were arrested, on live TV, and asked for a reason, but were given none. None has been given yet, except they were "following orders" (where have we heard that before?) What race are reporters? the first one arrested was black. Under the circumstances, when the cops have a bad image that started the riots in the first place--really, really stupid. And your efforts to justify it seem lame. Heaven forefend you would ever doubt your position!

I'm with you on the Floyd arrest, Chauvin mofo totally did look like he was enjoying himself. I'm with the rioters for making a noise, why the hell not

But I don't trust CNN for a second, that was an obvious set up, look where they were, if one of that crew had been killed whilst there were a 100 riot police standing around, CNN themselves would have been wah wah wah, why didn't you do your jobs

Yes, that's how sneaky the media is nowadays

If there are 100 riot police standing around, that is the front line, pretty stupid place to be reporting

Reporter had a facemask on to protect himself from covid but no helmet to protect him from airborne bricks

Oh, I'd never do that--use your faulty logic to claim he's a bum because of all the shit that went down on his watch. See what the voters think.

  17. In a riot, everybody there is a suspect. That's how cops roll, I'm not saying I "like" it. Only that it's how they do things.

You will notice how whining about it has never changed this.

"Whining" about groundless arrest of news reporters? In other words, the police are gonna do what the police are gonna do. Resistance is futile!
