metrosexual is another one of those new age labels put to use by society. thanks queer eye!! i take pride in my appearance and am a fashion fag. when i travel i wear the same beat clothes everyday for months, but when im settled and party i dress to impress. no one person can fit any one label. ive been found sexy as a street kid, in drag and in a three piece thrift store suit. im not gay or straight im an alien. luvkoz.

And take a look at what I'm arguing: I certainly am not encouraging you to 'embrace your metro side' or anything. I'm saying that there is something to what these other guys are saying--that not all who pamper are attracted to women.

For a person that is soooo against fashoin and the type of clothing that comes with metro males who happen, by the way to like fashion, good health, and nice food, you sure are able to quote high fashion designers.........Most men would not know who Manolo Blahnik is....Toooo funny. I think guys that smell great, dress nice, have good taste, and are manly are hot. I don't think that metro has to mean gay. I don't think that dressing well and caring for your appearance has to mean gay either. You seem homophobic to me.

I have nothing against nice food or good health. And as for fashion, I like to make EDUCATED judgments... so yeah, I know who Dior, Blahnick (sp?), etc. are, even Betsey Johnson, who I think is a character and a half.

I should be on 'roids. I have a medical condition. But sadly, we've demonised manliness and testosterone to the point where someone with insufficient amounts of it in his blood can't get it, whereas they'll give estrogen and progesterone to any 14 year old who wishes to get it, without informing a doctor or her parents.

 

I see you and Iron have something in common - I happen to not like my men to be feminine in any way. I do prefer a manly guy that makes you feel like a woman. Being that I am the only one that has dated the men in my life - Who do dress well, smell nice and are very much filled with testosterone. I'm sorry you feel you need someone else to make you feel like a woman. I do fine as a man, even though I need to lift weights to get my T levels up to some acceptable standard.

I understand it's quite testosterone fuelled down at the Velvet Ramrod, especially on Leather Night. And all those guys dress really well. Listen honey, women get fooled all the time. Ask Mrs. Wilde, Liza Minelli, etc.

Well, that's what metrosexual means - being a Details reading, male model, Passat driving, apple martini swilling, hors d'oeuvres nibbling, window treatment obsessing pseudo-fairy.

 

This is all getting a little bit silly if you ask me. I think the bottom line, as I had stated earlier in this post......Is that people are people regardless of dress. My point was that I personally prefer men who dress well. It has nothing to do with judging anyone. This is my preference. I have not always dated men that dress this way, nor do I hate men or dislike men that prefer to dress in another fashion. I think men can be sexy in all types of attire, I simply prefer a well dressed, groomed man. No biggie. As to your reference Iron to them having to wear leather and bondage attire, I think that is a bit much. For cool - As I stated Condecending attitudes generally are reciprocated with the like. So there we have it. Just as women can be sexy and attractive in many fashions men are also capable of attracting women in all states of dress - It's more about the attitude and the way a person carries themselves that defines sexy, and interesting. The attire, my preference of course, would just be a bonus......So on to another topic. This one has been exhausted.
